Founded in Edinburgh in 2003, The Departure Lounge deals in some of the most original, enjoyable and vibrant club nights in the UK. Not ones to limit themselves, they specialise in a wide variety of genres, including jazz, hip hop, Latin, Afrobeat, Brazilian, soul, house and drum’n'bass. They have gone on to gain something of a legendary status in the Scottish music scene – while continuing to proudly give exposure to local talent such as Livesciences, Orkestra Del Sol, The Everything Treatment and The Edinburgh Samba School.
They have hosted a staggeringly diverse range of acts over the years, with guests including Patrick Forge, Zero dB, Benji B, Jade Fox, Spiritual South and Dom Servini.
