Most often referred to as Washington DC’s finest, Oddisee, founder of hip hop group The Diamond District, is a rapper producer known for his high volume and high quality output. His diverse list of collaborators includes hip hop legends De La Soul, Talib Kweli, J-Live, and Little Brother, experimental electronic musicians Flying Lotus, Hudson Mohawke and Kidkanevil, and singer songwriters Nikki Jean, Muhsinah, Olivier Daysoul and Georgia Anne Muldrow. After producing a string of acclaimed projects in the past two years including In The Ruff, Travelling Man, Odd Seasons and Rock Creek Park, Oddisee is currently being heralded by the likes of Hot 97s Peter Rosenberg and Q-Tip. Oddisee is set to release his debut full length solo album in spring 2012 on Mello Music, and is hard at work producing some of the biggest up and coming names in hip hop.
