Matman is one of London’s most prolific DJs. His dynamic, fast paced and skills-laden sets often span many genres, but always maintain a backbone of hip-hop, his first musical love. In true hip hop style he initially made his name on the battle circuit, and holds the titles of UK DMC Supremacy Champion, UK ITF Champion, London DMC Champion, and European Turntable Techniques Champion.
Matman is a co-founder, DJ and writer for Droppin’ Science, London’s freshest hip hop collective & monthly club night. Alongside his brother and fellow Droppin’ Science member DJ Daredevil, Matman has recently worked extensively on the soundtrack to the forthcoming DJ based ipad/iphone videogame ‘Skillz’, scooping an award for ‘Excellence in Audio’ in the process & remixing tracks from the likes of Stones Throw Records, Hospital records, Ninja Tune, Ministry Of Sound, OM Records and more.
