G Kut has been a stalwart on the Manchester scene for more than ten years, incorporating hip hop, funk, electronics and “just good music” with the finest turntable trickery. As a producer, his releases on “Mind on Fire” have been punctuated with jaw dropping live performances with Danny Drive Thru as “Hot Vimto” – a button bashing, scratch-a-latch, bassdoom combo who both like drinking vimto – hot in the winter, cold in the summer. A favourite at most major festivals across the UK for the past four years with “Mr Psik” – horror breaks/turntables/fresh blood/masks. He also provides scratches and electronics for the devastating Manchester band Silverclub – currently getting mega plays across American radio, their album is out this spring.
