Following victory as Asia’s first World DMC champion in 2002 with one of the highest recorded scores, DJ Kentaro has gone on to conquer the world with appearances on almost every cover of every hip-hop magazine in print and a string of highly acclaimed LPs and mix-tapes on Ninja Tune. When Kentaro is behind a set of 1200s and a mixer, things go off – he dissects beats into breath-taking sonic concoctions that cannot be missed.
His début album Enter was met with critical acclaim, rising to number one on Japan’s indie charts as well as claiming the top spot for single and album on iTunes Dance Charts. He has since turned to production, releasing new material on his own label Endeavor.
