Druskillz has been building a reputation as a pusher of premium hip-hop, future funk and modern soul for over a decade.
Dru started smashing hip-hop clubs across the UK after teaming up with Kid Kanevil in 2000 with four-deck throwdowns blending accomplished turntable skills with an eye for moving the crowd. He has since supported legendary US and UK acts such as DJ Kool Herc, Jeru the Damaja, Roots Manuva and Taskforce. Dru continues to showcase his skillz with the Droppin’ Science crew as a club DJ and radio presenter and also ‘in the lab’ recording essential cuts and scratches for UK artists such as English Frank, Fliptrix and Verb T.
Returning for his third year as a Soundwave resident, Dru will bring cutting-edge soulful beats to get the sun-drenched crowds moving on the dance-floor.
